Well another week has passed...yes... i keep finding it difficult to do nightly blogs... its so funny ... at each event I think of so many things that I want to share with brides, etc... and then after the event is over we get slammed and have to keep moving forward...So this past weekend we were hosting the
wedding reception for Mr and Mrs Taylor Alexander (Taylor and Kathryn) at the Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort on Stone Mountain.

Kathryn and Taylor, like so many brides, hired us for our event planning capabilites (helping them draw up a timeline that is personalized for their specific situation (music tastes, demographics, etc.) being a professional MC and Mix DJ was just a bonus =). We created an event that allowed them to enjoy the music they personally liked (Daft Punk, LCD Soundsystem, etc.,) while allowing the guests to have a great time as well... Making special mixes of Kool and The Gang "Get Down On It" as one example. The fun thing about this reception ... The bride and groom decided they wanted to cut out a bit early because the guests were getting tired... the groom said to me... "I think they are getting tired...let's play a few more and let them go home... we did the last dance and then I kept the people dancing to my megamix of hits for almost 20 more minutes!
